Manage a catalogue with server-owned prices. Your cart is quoted by the backend before an order is recorded.
Follow the steps
- Add products with stable identifiers, server-owned prices, stock and useful descriptions.
- Try quantity controls and the cart, then place a small sample order from the published page.
- Open the order inbox and compare quantities, totals and customer details with what you submitted.

Browser-supplied prices are not authoritative. The server quotes and checks the catalogue before saving an order.
